Runescape include significantly increasing the game’s world size
It’s unexpectedly not the same as other CCGs around right now. And they have plans to completely rework the PvP system for reputation and crime – players who continually player-kill will eventually be labeled as a criminal. The criminal aspect could be pretty cool. As it stands, guilds and such can battle each other and lift armor off rival players they kill. However, making it where anyone can kill each other in various zones and earn a reputation for it could create a thrilling dynamic for players who want more than the safe-zone theme-park MMO experiences that most standard MMOs offer at the moment.
Attacking defenseless ships or, worse, looking at defenseless ships is not a whole lot of fun, I confess. Beyond changing speed, direction and depth, there’s not very much for a captain to do. During an engagement, it’s an engrossing role, rapidly crash diving to avoid enemy bombers, tweaking the sub’s speed to remain stealthy, perfectly positioning the underwater killing machine to strike at a foe’s broadside – but most of the time it just involves slowly chasing distant ships.
Getting into scraps with enemies that can actually fight back does offer up quite a bit of entertainment, once you’ve actually reached them. Weaving in and out of their field of view, going into rs gold silent running mode to avoid detection, and then rising just at the right second to launch a salvo at an unsuspecting, and heavily armed, destroyer before slinking off is tense and rewarding. But it remains hard to get past the fact that you’re staring at a screen that rarely changes, delegating orders. Don’t fret over pricing models and payment, though.
The game won’t see the light of day for a long time given that closed beta testing is expected to run all the way through 2016 to August 1st. After closed beta testing is completed the company will then launch the title into open beta. Unlike Hearthstone, Magic: The Gathering, and Hex: Shards of Fate, you do not play your attacker directly. Instead your deck consists of monsters you play against yourself. It’s you to put down monsters and components of the journey that will not kill you and also will, instead, provide you with the XP, strength, and health you have to continue.
