The qualifiers of the 55 teams for the finals of UEFA eEURO 2021, the competition that had take place on the virtual pitches of eFootball PES 2021, kick off March 15. The winner of the tournament will be announced on 10 July, one day before the UEFA EURO final. 2020, the competition postponed last year due to the pandemic. As was the case for the competition’s first edition last year, with 55 countries involved, eEURO 2021 has the distinction of being the largest ever national team efootball tournament. The teams, divided into ten groups, will play each other twice in a ‘home and away’ format. Every encounter will consist of two 1v1 matches, with the aggregate score over the two games determining the outcome. The qualifying matches will be played across March and April.
The ten group winners will directly qualify for the final tournament in which 16 teams will take part. The ten runners-up will enter a playoff tournament that will be played on 10 and 17 May to decree the last six finalists.
“UEFA eEURO has given efootball fans the chance to dream of representing their country on the most important stage. All the competing teams will try to follow in the footsteps of Italy who won the inaugural tournament last year, ”said UEFA marketing director Guy-Laurent Epstein.

A cash prize of 100,000 euros will be shared among the finalists, including 40,000 euros for the winners.

The details of the competition

All qualifying matches will take place between March and April while the final phase of eEURO 2021 is scheduled for the summer. The final is already scheduled for 10 July, one day before the UEFA EURO 2020 final.
