Angry Birds Transformers is out now in the App Store for iOS
Get ready for a new adventure, Angry Birds fans. Your favorite birds are back, and this time they’ll face off against crazed robots to save Piggy Island in Rovio’s latest mobile game, Angry Birds Transformers.
Out now in the App Store for iOS, and slated to arrive in Google Play for Android on Oct. 30 and the Amazon Appstore Nov. 4, the game combines the world of Angry Birds with the iconic Transformers franchise. With an “edgy 80s vibe,” the action begins when the evil Eggspark arrives on Piggy Island and changes the eggs into little bionic monsters who threaten to destroy everything.
Talking about characters, the main Red Angry Bird is seen enacting the role of Optimus Prime, while the Yellow Bird (Chuck), Hal, Bubbles, Terrence take the role of Bumblebee, Grimlock, Jazz and Heatwave. Also, the Corporal Pig, Foreman Pig, King Pig, Chef Pig will feature as Galvatron, Lockdown, Megatron, and Soundwave/Starscream. Each character has its own special skill, as seen on the dedicated website.
The Angry Birds Transformers app can be downloaded from the App Store. The app is sized at 94.5MB and is compatible with devices running iOS 7 or later versions. The game also comes with in-app purchases.
