Battlestate Games is planning to roll out a new update for Escape from Tarkov today. The new update will go live after the server maintenance of the game for the PC platform, which is currently in process. Well, Battlestate Games has posted some details official on Twitter account. According to the official statement, the new patch will reset the endurance and strength skills leveling to zero for all the players. Along with this, the post also mentioned that a new weight system will be introduced too.

Chief among these are tweaks to the Interchange location, including updated lighting, additional interactive objects, and new exfil points. Players will also note shifts to the item weight mechanic, including the weight rating for various items and debuffs for going over the carry weight limit.
Additionally, stamina has been split into arms and legs, with arms losing stamina while aiming, throwing grenades and using melee weapons, while leg stamina being consumed by running and jumping.But that’s not all when it comes to movement.
